I wanted to take a "newer" Metallica song and make like as if it was a ballad from the 80's like "Fade To Black," "Sanitarium," or "One." Pay attention to the song structure: Intro solo, clean verse, heavy chrous, clean verse, heavy chorus, clean solo like on "One", heavy chorus and then really heavy and faster interlude and finally a kick ass solo at the end!
